Embracing Cultural Confidence® in Belongingness

Presenter: Jeanie Y. Chang, LMFT, Your Change Provider, PLLC® & Noona’s Noonchi, LLC

“Happy Workplace, Psychological Safe Place.” So says licensed clinician, speaker, and executive coach Jeanie Y. Chang, LMFT, CCTP who indicates psychological safety is vital to producing successful outcomes at work. Research shows the numerous benefits, particularly in promoting belongingness, which results in greater employee engagement and productivity because employees feel more comfortable being themselves. This also results in greater trust amongst colleagues.

Amid the pandemic, the word ‘belonging’ was included with DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) due to an altered workplace that is forever changed. There shows a strong need , now more than ever, to cultivate an empathetic and compassionate work environment. This investment in building quality relationships creates a ripple effect across an organization to produce a healthier and happier workforce.

Breakout Session A: From Small Businesses to Small Teams: Tactical Ways to Create Inclusive Workspaces

Presenter:

With all the talk about DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion), it’s hard to think you have time to invest in it when you are managing a small team or a small business.
